In celebration of the start of spring, the Kendra Dress is on sale until Sunday, April 1st.
Although I am not new to pattern making or sewing, I am new to the indie pattern designer scene, and can I just say, it is so much fun! I am so thrilled when someone purchases my sewing pattern, but I am even more thrilled when I see one of their makes on social media. My heart skips a beat when I'm tagged and I see another Kendra dress.
I wanted to share a post written by Lindsay Janeane. She wrote the kindest, most positive pattern review of my Kendra dress sewing pattern. I was blown away!

I think you will agree, she looks adorable!! She describes her process of sewing with a printed scuba from Fabric Styles and how she made the necessary adjustments to the pattern to get the perfect fit!

Kim at Legal.Stitches made a beautiful Kendra dress just in time for the past holiday season in this beautiful blue brocade fabric from Mood Fabrics. She got a pretty awesome compliment too when she wore it out on the town!!

The best part of the evening was when I walked by the maître d' and he said, "That dress?! Is incredible!" Not gonna lie....that made my night!
Another wonderful sewist, Julie B at l.oopylou from Sydney, Australia made her Kendra dress for the #sydneyfrocktails event. Sydneyfrocktails is a fun sewing event organized by Caz Adams at Useful Box. Be sure to check out her blog and find out when the next event will be held if you live or are visiting the area.

Katie at ZyzoAustralia made another navy blue Kendra for her twin sister. Her first Kendra is shown in the photos of the featured photo at the beginning of this blog post in the pink floral.

I am discovering that the sewing community is an amazing and supportive group of talented women and men. The internet and the growth of social media continue to connect us. What once was a solitude hobby or interest, is now something that can be shared and inspired from every corner of the globe. I think that is pretty amazing!!
Such a flattering fit and flare for the spring. I love the white and the black fabric with large florals, so on trend. The pockets are the icing on the cake!
