The Adley shirt is a very relaxed style with casual details including a deep V-neckline, back yoke, and an uneven hemline inspired by the photos below. This pattern can be interpreted in so many different ways depending on the fabric and length. The Adley is easily changed into an Adley Tunic simply by lengthening the pattern. Watch out for my upcoming post of an Adley Tunic hack. I also plan to make an Adley shirt dress soon, inspired by the one in this post.
I love how the stripes go in different directions on the placket of this tunic.
This uneven hem inspired the hem of the Adley
Add a ribbon detail to the wide placket of the Adley shirt pattern
I love the simplicity of this bound neckline
I cannot wait to make the Aldey into a shirt dress in the near future
I love the wide placket and deep V-neckline of this shirt
Make the Adley in a silk fabric for a more elegant look like this blouse
Another example of the clean lines of the bound neckline
Simple. Clean. Love it!
I cannot wait to see everyone else's different interpretations and fabrics. We would really love for you to share your makes with us at #adleyshirt or #aliceandann.
